HAPPY TWO MONTHS!!!

I was so happy when the clock struck midnight for the start of Labor Day, September 1, because that meant it was our TWO MONTH ANNIVERSARY!! It really has been the greatest 60 days ever! I just wanted to say thanks to joshy for an amazing 2 months, and I love you so much!

Here is how cute he is. Right when it turned midnight, he said that he was going to go get us diet mt. dews (our favorite), so naturally I didn't complain. He was gone a long time, and when he finally got back, he had two beautiful roses for me, surrounded by gorgeous hot pink gerber daisies. He said "two roses for two months" and gave me a big hug!!

While I was happily arranging them in a vase, he pulled out ANOTHER gorgeous long stemmed rose and said "And one more just because I love you". It was so adorable and I really appreciate it! Here is a picture of them....

Another thing has finally happened. I decided to try some digital scrapbooking... let me tell you, it's so addicting. I only have downloaded free things, so nothing is that great yet, but here are some examples of some pages I have done.

Life has been great being married! I feel so bad though cause i just go to work every day while my beautiful amazing wife sits and takes care of all of our paper work. AKA insurance, car titles, banking crap and all other stuff like that.

For my birthday my dad gave me his old Nikon D70 camera so i have been having fun taking pictures of nature while i work and also of my sister for her bridals. Here are some samples of my work unedited :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOSHY!!!

ok, so happy BELATED birthday... by almost a month. haha i was a little behind on the blogging back then, but Joshua turned 23 on July 10!! Let's just say this was a HUGE deal for me because now we are officially the SAME AGE, which naturally I am jazzed about. He is the most adorable 23 year old you have ever seen. He got up, went to work, and came home and we went to applebees for birthday dinner.

Then, our families came over and we had BIRTHDAY CHAIR, the best tradition ever....


I got to finally BAKE something, which made me so happy. So here is the yellow cake with chocolate frosting. It may not look like alot in the decorating area, but it tasted good :)

Anyway, I just wanted to tell josh that I LOVE YOU so much and I hope you had a happy birthday a month ago!! :) Here are some things I am loving about you lately....
1. How you are jumping into photography with both feet and getting so good at it!
2. How you are really good and mysterious at the one eyebrow lift face
3. How you help me clean and fold clothes and are basically the best husband ever.
4. How you get up and go to work everyday and work the LONGEST days so we can do fun things like pay bills and go to movies :)
5. How you act like a little kid when you see things you like and i love it.
6. How you have the most generous heart ever and make me feel so loved
7. How you eat anything I give you, even if its not that good.
8. How you still open my door for me after all this time
9. How you still kiss me all the time :)
10. How you make me laugh everyday and are my better half!!

What can I say, I married my best friend who makes me feel like the most loved, beautiful, lucky girl in the world.... I can't wait for this next year ahead til we both will be 24!! wahoo!!! Love you babe!!!

ANOTHER occasion to celebrate was our
ONE MONTH ANNIVERSARY on Friday!!!

Don't worry, Josh had amazing plans that included candles that he bought, roses, sunset at tablerock, good food, and lots of other goodness, but since I got off late from work, he improvised and took me to an awesome bbq dinner and a movie. It was great!!

Here are the roses he gave me... Thanks for the best 30 days ever babe!!!

Also, since I am just post-catching-up here, here are some pictures from the Boise Burn Game we went to a couple weeks ago with our friends Jeff and Amy. They are an awesome indoor football team and we sat on the third row!!

It was awesome..... Until I got BEER spilled down my back, literally, like my shirt was wet, from the crazy girl behind me. But still fun!!!



Anyway, things are great!!! sorry for the long post, but we are just loving life!!! couldn't ask for more.....

Wedded Bliss...

It's official... josh and i have been married for 28 days!! Can you believe it?!?!
Time really has been flying by! Hence the no posting for a month and a half!! I wanted to get up some pictures of the wedding, reception, honeymoon, new apartment, and everything, but we will just settle for some wedding ones today. Our photographer Brooke Mack is almost done with them. She did such a wonderful job!! Here are some of her photos from the big day.

I Love this picture of the rings!! I think it's really cool.... and i of course just love my ring :) Good job joshy!!


but THIS picture is my FAVORITE!!! One of my favorite things about the Bountiful Temple is THIS VIEW... so i'm so glad we got it!! Josh is just sooo adorable I can't even get over it.


Anyway, we are just happy and in love!! Life is a constant stream of working, insurance, school registration, and many other things, but we keep things fun by doing the following:

1. rollerblading and long boarding along the green belt
2. going to cheap movies right by our house
3. eating noodles and other yummy food at Panda
4. reverting to our childhood by playing Crash Bandicoot... josh plays while I scrapbook and make things. It's a good system
5. stealing the PS2 from the Davis household
6. watching FRIENDS and decorating our apartment
7. Laughing all the time
8. trying to beat each other home from work so we can be there when the other gets home
9. teaching josh to LOVE the new shams and decorative pillows (he is still not quite there)
10. visiting with our families
11. going to the library and checking out fun books and dvds for FREE
12. BEING IN LOVE....

almost there...

Well, it is officially less than 2 weeks until the big day! We can't even believe it!! We have been getting some of the last things done lately, and everything is falling into place. We made it to utah to get our marriage license!! It was quite the weekend, with a few set backs, but we finally made it and got it all figured out. One more step towards officially being Mr. and Mrs. Davis. Here we are at the city hall...


We also picked up my dress, and we officially hate Davids Bridal. Let's just say I now have a new skill... I learned to bead wedding dresses! I had to put some beads on mine, but I had great help and it all turned out. We even took Bridal pictures on Tuesday! Here is an example from my mom's cell phone camera...

You may think that it is bad luck for us to see each other before the big day, but we are cool with it. :) We finally got our apartment too!! We are living at River Pointe Apartments. It's right on the river, so it should be really great.

We are going to start moving our stuff in on Tuesday. SOOO needless to say, I can almost start counting down the HOURS, but maybe not yet. :) I just can't wait, and it's going to be amazing to officially be "The Davis's" (I still don't know how to make that plural... Josh, a little help??)





Here are some things that we love lately:
1. The Lakers losing... ok, so maybe I am the only one who loves that. Sorry Joshy :)
2. Kung Fu Panda... amazing movie
3. Getting married in 12 days.
4. Watching TV shows together like America's Best Dance Crew, SYTYCD, and UF.
5. Season 1 of 24
6. Vanilla Diet Mt. Dew (thats an old favorite...)
7. Josh in a Tux... wow. ow ow.

We are just loving life!!

The freaking Lakers lost! That makes me so sad but they will come back, mark my words :)

Wicked Wisdom Teeth

so, i have recently discovered how much i HATE wisdom teeth. Josh and I decided to hurry and get mine pulled out before we got married (thanks parent's insurance...). My mom called last wednesday, and they fit me in THURSDAY morning at 7:30 AM. So I had very little time to freak out. 

However, I have come to find out that i HATE wisdom teeth, and they hurt so bad. Not to mention the fact that I think I look like this...

Josh has been SOOO patient though and treated me so well. He has been so nice and brought me movies and put up with my whining. He has been a real prince charming, like this guy...

Anyway, I will be glad when its all over. We are less than 30 days away from wedded bliss and we can't wait. :)
